Jan 1898 1st I was over after some straw and Hay after dinner I took the Womens over to Bottolfson we were all to the dance at Gilbert Schager Lou Came down this Eve 2 I paid G. Brinie 1.00 Bal Due John Weiger and Family was here Lou and Mother went to Church 3 Ed took Lou and Family up home to day very nice day I went up town and Borrowed 75.00 for 4 mo(nths) Pd. J. Foglesong 49.00 on Corn and Jacob 20.00 Bal on Herding 4 Oscar and I went up to Eds. After the Boar Hauled a load of hay after dinner paid Strube 3.30 Bal on Corn
