A small wavy stroke written above the line at the end of a word; stands for r and means a vowel must be supplied (yoʳ, Mʳ).

Write it

Watch the quill write the squiggle r (raised), trace it stroke by stroke, then copy it. Scribes wrote it in 2 ways; the usual one comes first.
